If Only Our Eyes Saw Souls
I forgot to tell her how beautiful she is.
Because of how shallow my mind can be sometimes.
Affected by this complicated society. They would say she looks ugly.
To me, beauty became so much more than what we were born with.
Appearances don't really matter when people decide to open up and connect with the soul.
Been single for a while now, and like most guys, I've called a lot of women pretty, cute, hot, stunning, sexy, gorgeous, telling them they look so damn good.
Telling women they're beautiful based on their appearances; which can be quite deceiving at times.
I want to say sorry for telling most of you that you're beautiful only because of what genes you received from your parents.
I should've said that you were beautiful because of who you've become as a woman.
How can you only be proud of what's on the outside when you have this shining personality harder than diamonds molded by all the hardships and pain you've been through, locked inside that decorated treasure chest.
From now on,
I'll make sure I say that you're brave, brilliant, resilient, and beyond amazing.
Not because I don't think you're good looking, but because you are beautiful in so many different ways.

A Dedication To People Going Through Depression
Dedicated to people going through depression: just reminding you about what you already know...
People tend to confuse it with sadness and grief. It is much more complicated than that. It's not something you can just get over. It's a feeling that brings hell on earth. You feel like you don't want to do anything in life. Things easily give you anxiety and only fail to bring you joy. Then you start feeling down for nothing and you just don't know what to do. So you might start doing certain things just to fill the void. Friends and family can easily misunderstand you and start thinking that you're the problem that you make excuses for not being with them. Which is far from the truth.. Because you really do want to go out of your mental cage and get away from this black beast dragging you down all the time. You don't want to ignore loved ones but of course it becomes annoying when they always ask "what's wrong?" and how can they make you feel better? Because the thing is, you really have no idea. I promise you that you can have everything in this world and still feel this way. Most people turn to alcohol or other legal pharmaceutical drugs that poison you and only make you more depressed in the end. The worst thing is that you know deep inside how ridiculous it is to feel depressed in the first place.
I can without hesitation say that depression is a disease. It's not something that goes away by partying all the time, travelling the world, having lots of money, buying material things, going to a psychiatrist, gaining new friends, or finding a person you can love.
I say this because I've been there. I've felt so depressed before to the point where I couldn't see any happiness in my future, questioning why I should even continue to live my life. I've endured so much physical pain to the point where I thought the only way to end it was if I died. Committing suicide is a choice everyone has. Before choosing the shortest way out, I would suggest that you observe and learn more about life and this universe like I did.
Feel free to go to a mental hospital and witness other diseases and illnesses. Go to real poverty and see how people struggle for basic necessities. Some children live a life where they can get shot or blown up anytime of the day. Go to the cemetery and spend a few hours and observe how many people die all the time and how many people grieve for their lost ones. Your life problems would feel tiny at this point. It is important to understand that everyone suffers. Simply put, life IS suffering. So Trust me.. There's enough evidence to suggest that...
You are definitely not alone.
When you finally see how connected you are to everyone and everything, you will feel enlightened.
You will realise that happiness and love is something you become, not just something you feel. You will understand why giving is the most powerful human act there is. You will finally not just comprehend these knowledgeable quotes you read everyday but also become wise enough to apply them to your life. You will be at balance and see the harmony in things instead of things being just good or bad. It's not about "always thinking positive" but more about counting your blessings.
Once you're on this path, which is usually a spiritual experience, always keep questioning. Listen to people who are still on this journey.. Less from the ones who think they know everything and have the answers or the ones repeating what a book or a group of people say.
Your mind will continue to expand and it never goes back to its previous dimensions. So once you do find this path of enlightenment I strongly believe that you will not choose to go back to being depressed again. In the end it's something you have to experience in order to know what vitality is.

College Cruise Ships
Travelling the world broadens our mind.
Couldn't be closer to the truth.
We see and experience the true beauty of this world.
We connect with mother Earth.
Her children in each and every country.
All the different ways she has raised them.
All the different homes she has made. The surprises and wonders she has left around for us to admire.
When we come back we can feel so connected that when we hear news from where we've been, we get affected.
Our world expanding further than our local community.
Our friends around the globe becoming like family.
Wishing the whole world could just live in harmony.
We learn so much from literally getting to know the planet we inhabit, that it's more educational than any systematic school.
If only there were schools that were on cruise ships.

Emotional Critters: A Dedication to All Parents
Emotions are our tools.
Being able to control your emotions is a skill.
We always get to experience the depths of these critters that engage us to do what we do.
They say our most natural emotions are anger, envy, grief, fear and love.
They're usually somehow repressed in most of us as we grew up.
Because we were told that it was somehow wrong to feel them.
When these go out of our control we feel rage, jealousy, panic, chronic depression and the misunderstanding of love we call possessiveness. Many have hurt and killed people, even destroyed our planet because of these eccentric but grotesque emotions.
Taking a step back we do see that It's truly in our human nature to feel anger when the unexpected happens.
It's what allows us to say stop and no to someone or something we dislike.
It never has to be violent or abusive.
Even grief helps us properly let go when we deep inside don't want to say the last goodbye.
We actually need to grieve when we lose our loved ones.
Envy can inspire greatness, it makes us motivated to learn how to dance and sing just like our friends or siblings.
These are all appropriate emotions. It can be said that these 3 can come from fear.
Fear gives us caution so we don't injure our bodies.
It helps us stay alive. Fear can also be seen as the flip side of love, an outgrowth of love to be more exact.
This can be seen in all mothers. How they worry and fear for their children out of pure love.
When we try to save our own children from sickness and disease we experience both fear and love.
So to all my friends with kids. We should let children feel and express these natural emotions.
Let them play with these critters and get to know them just like pets.
Because If these are continually repressed it will be difficult for them to understand these emotions and they will react completely unnatural later on.
Most adults today don't understand that these critters are divine gifts and companions given to us at birth.
So when we deny them at a young age we start letting these emotions grow out of control.
Subsequently as adults, we become violent because of rage.
We want less for others and drag people down because we get jealous.
We get chronically depressed and never let go of the past when we know we can't change it.
We panic, becoming reckless and end up creating chaos for us and people surrounding us.
We become possessive and smother the ones we love, abusing them both physically and mentally.
The point is that these are super UNnatural. It happens because we deny who we really are, manipulated by parents who in turn were manipulated by society, religion, traditions and all the man made corruption that instill extreme fear and deny absolute love.
When we start getting to know all these emotions even more, we learn to live life to the fullest with these epic critters at our side!
Just like we do when we have true friends in our lives
